We are a team of passionate yet experienced newcomers in Canada. Jiaqi, Rainy and Nazrul started this networking portal as part of their community leadership project with the Saskatoon Open Door Society in November 2020. The project team decides to take this idea further and implement it for the benefit of future newcomers.
As a non-profit organization, the newcomer network begins operation in Saskatoon, a vibrant city in the province of Saskatchewan. We focus on providing free networking services as buddies to new immigrants who will settle in Saskatchewan. We also cooperate with local newcomer support organizations, regarding information, activities and resources.
